Poonthanam riverside villa has a traditional kerala style architecture and is located in the village of Cheriyoor. It is a calm and quite place, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The villa is surrounded by greenery and guests have exclusive access to the river. The double bedroom is located in the ground floor. There is a caretaker and cook available onsite and meals can be cooked on demand. You might be sharing the villa with other guests.

The river is a big attraction for our guests. You can sit by the riverside, sipping tea/coffee or reading a book. While we do provide meals on demand, there are various restaurants who will home deliver deliver your orders.
Beaches, backwaters, hill stations are within a radius of about 100 kms from the villa.

After about 18 years in various multi national corporates as project manager, I quit and relocated back to my hometown of Kannur in Kerala, India, in February 2019.
Primarily I wanted to be with my parents. Also I wanted to follow my passion of travelling and photography. I am well traveled in India and outside. Mostly I travel solo and have used AirBnB around the world during my travels. All my experiences have been amazing and have been able to meet many people. This has encouraged me to list as a host on AirBnB so that I can meet people, help them experience my home town and also give back to the local community. Looking forward to meeting new people and sharing stories and creating memories.
