Open the sliding glass door and step out onto the private lanai with an icy cocktail then kick back on comfy furniture to enjoy watching the waves crashing just steps away! The full kitchen is waiting with all the appliances and gadgets you'll need to create something special for your next meal. Serve it over the dining table, the breakfast bar, or on the lanai for an oceanside al-fresco meal that your guests will love. When you're not out surfing the famous Kona waves or sightseeing the downtown area, enjoy a good DVD movie on the cable TV or head down to the heated resort pool for a leisurely swim. The shared hot tub is the perfect way to relax those tired muscles after a day of hiking the nearby trails.

Want some terrific nature viewing? Kaloko-Honokōhau National Historical Park is just seven miles north with lots of terrific local wildlife to check out. You can also drive a mile down the coast to visit places like Keolonahihi State Historical Park and Magic Sands Beach Park. Be sure to visit some of the area's best eateries like Kona Brewing Co., Foster's Kitchen, and Da Poke Shack.
