After picking you up at your downtown core Toronto Airbnb, or other convenient location, we will start your adventure to Niagara Falls. Along the way we will stop at several picturesque waterfalls, an iconic Canadian cafe chain and an award winning winery. During short walks along tree lined paths at these smaller falls, you’ll learn about the geology of the area followed by a stop at a coffee shop chain that has become part of the Canadian identity. Then, we’ll hop in the car and continue to Niagara's wine region, where we will stop for a tasting (including ICE wine) at one of Niagara Regions most award winning wineries. After a delicious sit down lunch, we’ll go to the world-famous Niagara Falls where you will bathe in the mist from the Falls as we walk along the rim of the Niagara Gorge. We will meet at Dundas Square for a brief intro to your experience after which we will head to the PATH to check out the world-famous Eaton Center, passing by Toronto's Financial District and Shopping District. Winters in Canada can be very cold. Participating in an outdoor activity can be uncomfortable, especially if you are not used to the cold weather. This tour makes a winter walk much more pleasant by using Toronto's PATH network to move from one downtown sight to another. Only on 3 occasions will we step outside for a few minutes to have a look around at what lies above. The city's PATH network is over 30 km (20 miles) in length, and connects 70+ buildings in the downtown core. The PATH has 8 hotels, 5 subway stations, an arena, a shopping mall and City Hall attached to it. On each work day, an average of 300,000 people use PATH to move from office tower to office tower. We will meet at a dance studio in Yonge - Eglinton neighborhood in Toronto. This experience is for individuals, kids, or couples/dance partners, and we will relearn the art of Salsa or Bachata (your choice. or both!) in leading and following. The tour starts with my handing you cards with a strange image on one side and a cryptic message on the other. What do they mean? All will be revealed as we meander through the Age of Dinosaurs, Mammal and Biodiversity galleries. This is an interactive tour. It will not only engage you through questions and conversation but keep your interest piqued throughout; it is a 90-minute group interaction. I can't promise you'll immediately enroll to become a palaeontologist, but you'll end the tour with more dinosaur knowledge and maybe even a sense of wonder for these primordial creatures.
