The 250 square foot "Pine Cone" is a one room, round yurt-style cabin located on our 8 acre property. We border the Pine River in Richland County, center of the beautiful Driftless region of southwest Wisconsin. Perfect for a quiet, nature-based retreat, we are less than four hours drive from Chicago, Milwaukee, and the Twin Cities. We love this area - there is nothing like a cool, crisp Midwest morning overlooking the Wisconsin River. This quaint cabin in the woods is the perfect getaway from your busy life. On the doorsteps of Castle Rock Lake, Petenwell Lake, and Wisconsin River; making it a utopia for outdoor adventures. From hiking, fishing, and boating in the summer to snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skiing, and ice fishing in the winter there is always plenty to do. The cabin is fully furnished and comfortably accommodates all guests. Only a short drive from Wisconsin Dells and other festivals occurring year-round.

Driftless Bluff Glamping Cabin, Peaceful, Secluded

Rustic forest glamping in a heavy duty waterproof fabric shelter, 14 x 20ft. with a 5ft. awning. The perfect get away from it all, relax and enjoy nature. Flashlights, solar lights, propane 2-burner stove, and fire pit with grate. Kitchen set up with dishes, silverware, fully stocked coffee bar, filter water pitcher, shower bucket and most everything else. Compost toilet and foot pump sink. Small wood stove for when it's cold and a fan for when it's hot with battery to charge extras.

Our quaint log cabin overlooks a small pond and is situated on 40 acres of woodland; the only other development on the property is a charming farmhouse down the lane (our home). Cozy up with a good book next to the wood-burning stove. Watch the local wildlife from a rocking chair on the covered porch. Gaze at the stars on a clear night. Visit nearby trout streams, antique stores, and local sights, then come back to this simple, well-appointed respite in the woods.

Our cozy, cute cabin has two bedrooms. One with queen the other with full. There is also a hideabed in the great room. Relax in great room with a warm fire or the deck with a fire table. There is a gas grill on site as well as a full service kitchen. Bring your boat or water craft to use on Castle Rock lake, 1/2 mile away OR enjoy a day at the many parks in the area. Bring your snowmobile, atv, or utv for the many trails or clubs for the golf courses!
