This rustic, solar cabin has it's own private hiking trail(100m, steep hill) and private parking area. The trail winds it's way up to your private view overlooking Golden Lake. You will feel tucked away in this cozy spot surrounded by mixed oak forest, sitting atop Canadian Shield rock formations. Tucked away between the hills of Reaboro Ontario, this 175+ year old pioneer log cabin has been brought back to life with the comfort of all new modern amenities, while still keeping the rich historic character of its past. The cabin homestead was crafted in 1847, before Canada was a country. Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door.
