Our secluded cabin is surrounded by ancient oak tree forest and all the wildlife that comes with it. It’s so peaceful that you will only hear the river and the birds. Set in 10 acres of our own land for you to explore and easy access to Snowdonia public foothpaths, it’s perfect for those looking to spend some time in nature. The cabin itself features private wood fired hot tub, wet room, underfloor heating, large deck with bbq, kingsize bed, kitchen, living and dining area and a private cinema.

Beautiful, cosy, turf roofed, woodland edge cabin

A beautiful, new and cosy hand-built wooden cabin. It's nestled on the edge of our woodland and in a corner of our small organic permaculture farm between the mountains and sea. It has a double and two single beds, electric, wood burning stove, kitchen, picnic bench, fire pit, private toilet and hot shower. The farm has fresh eggs you can collect in the morning, hammocks and a sauna. We want you feel like you are in a Swallows and Amazons adventure, a place where life is a little bit slower.

The area offers opportunities for walking, climbing, sailing, scuba diving, and the world’s fastest Zip wire 30 mins away! Famous too for its medieval castles- eg Caernarfon castle etc

We are located just 5 minutes away from the A55 making us a perfect hub from which to explore the delights of both Anglesey and Snowdonia. Also located on the famous coastal path of Anglesey. Our cosy cottage is the ideal getaway in the beautiful village of Rhyd Ddu. Garn View is the perfect base for walking the stunning trails of Snowdonia, exploring North and West Wales and at the beginning of the Rhyd Ddu path you couldn't be better positioned to walk Snowdon. If you're just looking to relax, it's perfect for couples who want to enjoy the stunning views of Y Garn and the tranquility of Rhyd Ddu with it's tea shop and local pub serving great food, within walking distance.

Mountain cottage, fabulous view, private parking

Elidir View, a quarry foreman's cottage dating from 1850, is situated in an elevated mountainside position above the village of Cwm Y Glo, with expansive views towards Elidir mountain and rolling countryside. It has country & mountain walks immediately out of the house to Llanberis and Snowdon, and is near to the bus that goes directly to the car park for the walk up Mount Snowdon.. An open plan living room and dining area has a large contemporary log burner to keep it warm in the winter.
