Black Monarch #4: The Black Annise

The Black Monarch was re-built after a fire in 1899 as a brothel, casino, and saloon. It is a storied slice of Victorian era Americana , nestled in the beautiful Rocky Mountain gold rush city of Victor, Colorado. The building is exquisite in its design and well preserved with original windows, doors, tin ceilings, and stairs. Local legend states that the building is haunted by the ghost of a miner who died in a gunfight, and was originally wired by electrical genius Nikola Tesla.

Welcome to Lake George, CO! There is lots to do: fish, hike, off-road, rock hound, and tube. We're located near Eleven Mile Canyon/Reservoir, Happy Meadows, Mueller State Park, and Cripple Creek. All cabins have a kitchenette, bathroom, and a small living/bed area. They are equipped with kitchen essentials. Cabin 7 has a great view of the 'Horse, Mule, and Geese,' that live next door. It has one double bed and a bunk bed with twin mattresses and is great for families.

Our 4 bed shared female dorm offers a classic hostel experience for the ladies only. Lower bunks come with privacy curtains, top bunks have a privacy panel. Each bunk comes with outlets, reading light, pouch for personal belongings, and a large storage locker (bring your own lock or purchase at the front desk). Shared bathroom, Wifi, A/C, and refrigerator, all in the room.
