Retreat near Saratoga Springs

Retreat to a safe and private country road south of the Adirondack park and 15 minutes to downtown Saratoga Springs. Walk out basement apartment, located on 8 acres of property, with private entrance and garage parking. Queen size bed and queen size sleeper sofa. Kitchen, complete with all amenities. WiFi with smart TV and electric fireplace. We are a family of four, along with our dog Molly, living above the apartment. Although we do our best to be quiet, you will hear us from time to time.

Our guesthouse is minutes from the interstate, but you'll swear that you've traveled miles out in "God's country." Surrounded by many Amish neighbors, we are centrally located to Cooperstown, Howe Caverns, the Southern Adirondacks, Saratoga, Albany, Utica, and the Mohawk Valley (all within an hour's drive or less.) Enjoy a quiet retreat far off the road with authentic Amish furniture and decor and modern conveniences (washer & dryer, dishwasher, Keurig, AC/Heat, WiFi and streaming TV.)

The Garden Cottage

This is a bright and airy carriage house located on the second floor in a quiet walkable neighborhood. Living room has a drop down movie screen, brand-new sofa with chaise and pull out queen sized bed. Galley kitchen is new with a Smeg stove and oven, dishwasher. Bedroom has a queen size adjustable bed, 52 inch TV with wifi and cable. The bathroom has a soaking tub and a walk in shower a vanity with double sinks. ADK Cedar Chalet is a 715 sq ft A-Frame cabin nestled on 6 acres in the Adirondack mountains. This cozy retreat is the perfect year-round destination for those looking for a private getaway. We are a 15 minute ride to Gore Ski Mountain, a 25 minute ride to Lake George, a 50 minute ride to Saratoga Springs and minutes from local hiking trails, fishing holes, maple syrup farms and more! This renovated New England-style colonial has beautifully landscaped grounds and butts up to the Mohawk River, providing privacy and views. Walking the property not only gives you a bit of exercise but allows you to take in the beautiful views and native foliage.
