"The Shed"

At first glance, yes it's a shed. But explore further and you will find an unique Aussie experience, a fully functional self contained room. Shower, toilet and kitchenette. All private and seperate from our house. It's normally used for overnighters by family and friends. Please be open minded in your expectations, it's not the Ritz, Hilton, Taj Mahal but what it is clean, tidy, private affordable accomadation. Single or couple. Please note that toilet, shower and sink are located in same room.

1880 True Blue Guest Wing

We purchased this charming 1880’s Victorian Bluestone property in 2017 which was in desperate need of a restoration. Forward to 2024 and she is fully restored. We have a unique, self-contained Guest Wing, which runs off the main house and this is the space that we would love to offer as a private B&B. The location is perfect, the train station is a 150 metre walk to the end of our street, which makes it super easy to go into Adelaide CBD and enjoy any number of SA Festivals and Sporting Events.

The main house is 200m away. Yards for horses are opposite the unit. Dressage arena and 650m track are available. OVENDEN LODGE offers dog-friendly accommodation, in a self-contained "granny flat" surrounded by open paddocks at the southern entrance to historic Gawler. With its ponies, birds and chickens, it is a quiet, private retreat for 1-2 adults, complete with cedar hot tub and sauna. Unfortunately, due to the ponds and animals on the property, Ovenden Lodge is NOT suited for children. Dogs and ponies are welcome by individual prior arrangement.
