The Chef’s Shed - a farm stay

Situated in "cool country" Trentham, the Chef’s Shed was originally built in 1860, and has been lovingly transformed into a cosy, spacious and unique place to stay. It has quirky living spaces, including a loft, and wide, stunning views over the land around, even from the private sauna which can be used for a modest fee. From here you can explore the region. We are surrounded by nature, and a few minutes from The Falls and historic Trentham with cafes, pubs, walking tracks and a lot of history.

This property is on the Goldfields walking track and mountain bike track. It is in Creswick which is part of the central highlands goldfields. It is 20 kms from Ballarat and Sovereign Hill and 25kms from Daylesford and Hepburn Springs. It is close to town. You can walk to the supermarket, patisserie, 2 hotels, the wine bar, museum and the other amenities. The walking track goes to St George’s lake in the Wombat Forest. There are many birds; cockatoos, rosellas, kookaburras in the garden.

Home Amongst The Gum Trees

Are you looking for a place with good old fashioned hospitality, a comfortable bed with quality linen, a hot shower, and a sparkling clean space you can relax amongst trees & nature whilst visiting Daylesford. Families will love this rustic mudbrick cottage on a 10 acre property within a relaxed bush setting. Enjoy amazing sunsets, watch the kangaroos from the veranda, or take a walk through local bushlands. The outdoor fire area is the perfect place to unwind and view the amazing stars on a clear night. A few minutes drive from Talbot and 15 minutes drive from the famous Clunes Book Town. Being Central Victoria we have many small towns surrounding us within an hours drive.

Shepherds Hill Cottage Blissful Farm Stay Getaway

A gorgeous, gently restored miners cottage set in a tranquil location, Shepherds Hill Cottage is part of a working alpaca farm. The secluded cottage has it's own private garden and is right next to the alpaca nursery paddock, so expect to see lots of crias (baby alpacas)! The cottage is conveniently located, 10mins to Kyneton, 15mins to Trentham, 20 mins to Daylesford and 1hr 15mins to Melbourne.

Dijon

Dijon is a small but charming, self-contained studio space with one queen sized bed, kitchenette, couch and table within that area. Set in a spacious garden it comes equipped with some breakfast provisions, cooking basics, separate bathroom area and outdoor garden seating. It is only a short walk to the Hepburn Bathhouse, cafes, and therapy providers or alternatively, bushland walking tracks.
