Grýlusteinn is one of three cabins that we own. Nónsteinn, Grásteinn and Grýlusteinn. Our cabins are a perfect getaway place to enjoy the nature at it fullest while relaxing with a breathtaking view. Perfect for newly weds, couples or friends. Kirkjufell - Kirkjufellsfoss - Snæfellsjökull - Water cave - lava fields - black beaches - bird life - whale watching - Mountain view - northern lights - sunset , wonderful restaurants and so much more that you can experience here or near by.

Hekluhestar cottage at the farm

Take it easy in this tranquil accommodation in our farm, with a peaceful view ! The cottage can welcome up to 6 people, although 4 is the most comfortable. Nicely located, it is about one hour by car from Reykjavik, from the Golden circle and from Vík's black sand beaches. It is 15min away from Hella's bus station, which allows you to visit Lanmannalaugar. The farm has animals roaming around, and also offers riding tours. Its owners are always happy to share a lovely riding experience !

Beautiful private house by the Fjord with Hot Tub

Situated on the beautiful, peaceful island of Hrísey in the middle of Eyjaförður. The house sits on the water's edge with stunning views of the fjord and mountains where you can sometimes watch the whales and dolphins. PLEASE NOTICE: The island is located in the northern part of Iceland. It is a five-hour drive from Reykjavik. And you need to take a ferry to get there. No cars, pedestrians only. The ferry departs from the fishing port of Árskógssandur every two hours and only takes 15 mins.

It has five good bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a big living room to get together or relax after a day out. The surroundings are peaceful, and there are many options for short hiking from the house. The cottage is designed in the old Icelandic country style, but with house heating, hot water, well equipped modern kitchen with a dish washer. The ground floor is 35 (square m.) Upstairs there is a 20 square m. sleeping attic with one Queen Size bed (140x200 cm).

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Here you can enjoy the nature and relax. Here there is little traffic, cute horses all around and birdlife. Perfect place to see the northern lights in the winter.
