The Gables Cottage

A delightful detached stone cottage situated at the foot of the stunning Wicklow Mountains. With a characterful feel and rural location, this property is ideal for a couple looking to escape to County Carlow. Set in a 19th century farm pebbled courtyard. This granite cottage opens into an airy open-plan living space with a kitchen and lounge. There is a woodburning stove and leather couches to enjoy your evening. French doors lead out from the bedroom onto an outdoor dining, bbq area and garden.

Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s Wi-Fi but no television , just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continent breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER

Located in a private woods and surrounded by nature, you can disconnect from day to day life and enjoy a morning coffee on the deck, a stroll around the gardens, a visit to the chickens or venture further afield to the numerous attractions nearby. The Studio in the Sky

From artist studio to guest house, this little building is an ongoing project, with so much to offer. Sitting on higher grounds just behind the main house, it has its own garden with a view to take your breath away. It’s a bit of a rise to get there but totally worth it. If you keep climbing across small fields and a strip of forest, you’ll find yourself on Slievenamon’s mountain trails. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle

A 200 year-old stone cottage in the beautiful Roughty valley, close to the village of Kilgarvan, the beautiful heritage town of Kenmare and also Killarney and its famous National Park. The cottage maintains many original features including the original stone floor and hearth. It’s set on its own private garden where you can truly enjoy the peace and quiet of this amazing place and is also an ideal base for discovering so much including the Ring of Kerry and the Beara Penninsula.

With an average of 28m² of space, our luxurious Locke Studios have it all (and more). There’s room to relax, with a 150cm x 200cm UK king-size bed and one-of-a-kind, handmade sofa. Space to live, with a fully-equipped kitchen including a dining table, washer/dryer, dishwasher and lots of designer cooking gear. Set within the Croc An Oir Estate (translated as Crock of Gold) and tucked away down a leafy boreen, this beautifully restored, converted stone barn offers a truly relaxing holiday where hospitality and a traditional Irish experience is offered in abundance. Croc an Oir is a romantic retreat for a couple, and traditional features include a cosy woodburner, a half door, arched windows and a delightful loft style bedroom. There is also a private courtyard and garden.

It's located close to many beautiful beaches, in one of the most scenic spots along the Wild Atlantic Way in Connemara. The views from the cottage are simply breathtaking.
