In between picturesque koppies you will find this thatch-roof house overlooking the Free State plains. Wide open spaces with hiking, mountain-biking, trail running and stargazing to your heart's content on this beautiful 3rd generation sheep farm. Ideal for people wanting to escape busy city life or post Corona small apartments. There is no grid-supplied electricity on the farm but gas stove, gas geyser, gas fridge and oil lamps are available to help you reconnect to the peace and quiet.

The Stone Cottage Guest House, built in 1896 and recently restored is an ideal farm stay offering luxurious yet rustic self-catering accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Puzzles Accommodation -UNIT 1

Hosting the largest dam in the country, the town makes for an interesting halfway stop between Johannesburg and Cape Town / Port Elizabeth. Puzzles is situated on the edge of the “koppie” and is focused primarily on the overnight traveller. Each unit contains two 3-quarter beds, and a good quality double sleeper couch. Guests have their own entrance. Each unit has an en-suite bathroom with a separate bath and shower. Locked parking is provided behind palisade gates.

RHOOM has two spacious self-catering suite that overlooks a garden and forest. The historic house was built in 1902 lined with high ceiling, big windows, and original origin pine wooden floors. Each room is equipped with a queen size bed, a seating area and  kitchenette with own microwave, washing up area and bar fridge. Single beds can be added for a family with kids. The bathroom is private and has a generous shower.  The rooms has free wifi and flat screen tv.

Den Hagen Guest Farm - Farmhouse

The farmhouse is was built on Den Hagen farm over 120 years ago and has been carefully restored with authentic furniture and fittings. Guests can experience the real farm ambiance with fireplaces in the rooms, original Oregon flooring and sash windows. Hiking trails are available on the farm. There are beautiful picnic spots close to the farmhouse for relaxing. The farmhouse is 12,5 km from the Tiffendell ski resort and 6km from Rhodes village.
