In 1834, it was a chicken coop nestled between the house and barn. Today, it's a cozy cabin just a stone's throw away from the villa and venue. From the private, rural setting to the rustic decor, you'll feel as though you've traveled back to simpler times. It's unique, refreshing and oh-so tranquil. Chestnut Cottage

Built in 1890, Chestnut Cottage is located in the heart of the historic district within easy walking distance of shops, galleries, restaurants and historic sites. The Cottage features a comfortable living room, bright dining room, country kitchen, first floor bathroom and two upstairs bedrooms with one queen bed and one twin bed. Chestnut Cottage features artwork by prominent local artists. Wi-Fi, cable TV, DVD/CD players are included. Complimentary coffee/tea service. Minimum two night stay.

Tree Bear Cabin, on a 67 acre Tree Farm

Step away from the demands of life into this hidden gem. Tree Bear Cabin is a 100% real wood log cabin above the bustle of town, nestled among a 67-acre tree farm. Enjoy the quiet of the forest, and the cozy cabin interior. Play games on the wide lawn, explore the trails throughout the property, and make the most of your trip with our noon check-in time and 4 pm check-out times! Driftless Region Cabin/ Stream and Sauna

Settle into a quaint farmhouse nestled in a valley in the rolling, forested hills of the Driftless Region. Start your day with a cup of local coffee on the front porch. Go on a long walk or bike ride, then return to the cottage to cook, play board games, listen the record collection or visit Viroqua (25 minutes) for a farm-to-table 5-star dinner, or check out local music. Build a warm fire outdoors/ warm up by the gas stove indoors, or go down to the stream for a sauna by the cool water creek.

Quiet, private country location to relax and unwind. 9 miles west of Dubuque, close to Wineries, Heritage Trail, Sundown Mountain Resort. Cozy cabin and quarter acre pond. Not suitable for children under 12, we strictly enforce no children and no pets. Outdoor relaxing space, gas grill. Fully stocked cabin, with breakfast items included for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Cool quiet country cabin on boulders and 120 acres

Funky, tidy 23 year old country cabin on 120 acres of farmland & woods in a private, quiet rural setting. It's cozy, 950 sq ft, built with stone and wood. Open concept with a two story fireplace, porch fireplace, firepit, and open loft for sleeping (1 bed), with spiral stairs, lots of windows, walnut floors and trim, oak beams and pine kitchen tops. Shower is big and open, with doors opening to a back deck for outdoor showering. Beautiful covered porch overlooking rolling meadows and woods.

Lumber Yard Cottage, a cozy retreat

The Lumber Yard Cottage is a cozy hidden retreat tucked away from the road. Within walking distance of all Mineral Point has to offer. Great restaurants on all sides of this property and wonderful shops are just up the road. The Cheese Trail and railroad museum are across the street. Enjoy the back porch with the wraparound stone wall or the lovely front porch and watch the world slowly drift by. There is a queen size bed, jacuzzi tub, gas fireplace, ac unit, full kitchenette, and wi-fi.

The Young Cottage

You will have this entire cozy, Pet Free 2 bedroom home for up to 4 guests with 2 queen beds. A fully equipped kitchen & outside grill allows you to fix your own meals. Use the home and comfortable Deck as a base to simply relax in the quiet neighborhood or take a short walk to downtown or short drive to enjoy the beauty of Gov Dodge State Park, House on the Rock & Driftless Area. Home by the River

Situated alongside the Mississippi River, wildlife abounds in every season. With eagles nesting nearby, there is always something new to see from the beautiful sunrises, cruise ships passing by, and watching the commerce of the barges and railroad right out the front window! This home has been recently refurbished and sits at the edge of our 15 acres. You can see us and visit with us if you like, or you can maintain privacy 10 acres away!

Charming 4th Street turn-of-the-century studio

Welcome to our turn-of-the-century home, built in 1905. It hosts two apartments upstairs including this private access charming studio with a gorgeous sitting area and kitchenette. Located less than half a mile from Platteville’s Historic Second Street, about a half mile to the nearest Roundtree Branch Trail access, and less than a mile from UW-Platteville, we are within walking distance of most of Platteville’s main attractions!
