Black Oak Bed and Breakfast is a new country home on 7 acres. We have two beautifully appointed guest rooms with ensuite baths. Depending on traffic, we are 47 mile drive to Yosemite National Park along the scenic Merced River. Mariposa is a quaint little Gold Rush Town about 20 minutes away. The main part of town is literally 2 blocks long. There is no stoplight in the whole county. Mariposa was the 'Mother of all Counties' once extending all the way to Los Angeles.

The Sentinel Dome Room -- just outside Yosemite

This airy light-filled room right off the back patio has a double bed. It is very quiet, private and inviting, with a view of the Sierra National Forest. There's an amazing compartmentalized private bathroom, complete with walk-in tiled shower with multiple heads -(and heated tile floor for those chilly mornings!)
