Johnson's Peace Lodge 5G WiFi now available. Enjoy lake access in an 1830’s log cabin in the woods. You'll find a peaceful place to restore your mind, body and soul in the Manistee National Forest. Access to a 15-acre private fishing/no wake lake just few minute walk from the cabin. New dock as of June 2023. Kayaks, canoe, SUP. A/C in main bdrm. P. S. Little Log cabin on the Big Muskegon River.

This sweet little cabin on the river is a remodeled/updated log cabin from the 1940’s. Simple and slightly rustic, with everything you need for a comfortable stay! We think it has the best view on the whole river. There is shallow water and a sand bar mid-river in front of the house. The swans, geese, ospreys and Bald Eagles are a treat to watch. The cabin is a relaxing and intimate getaway for couples. It is cozy in the winter with a small hot tub overlooking a beautiful view.
