This artist and architect-designed house is clad in larch and well insulated with wool felts. The access to the separate loft of our eco-house is via an external staircase. A large south facing window in the main room overlooks the woodland garden and Shiplaw burn. There is a workspace/single bedroom for an extra guest. We are located within one of the biggest habitat restoration projects in Europe and are five minutes walk from a regular bus service to Edinburgh and across the Borders.

The Garden Bothy is a charming, detached cottage that sits within the grounds of Preston Hall Estate, just 12 miles from Edinburgh city centre. The cottage features three bedrooms with two private bathrooms. A modern kitchen and dining room to enjoy meals in. A sunny conservatory off the dining room looking out over the garden. Within the estate there are 250 acres of managed woodland to explore, many scenic walks to be had along the banks of the Tyne Water that borders the estate.

Relax in a modern home on our 20 hectare (50 acre) working organic farm just a few miles south of the Edinburgh city bypass. The apartment includes 3 rooms with a private external entrance and a locked internal door if needed. The single bedroom is ensuite; the other main room is a living space with a kitchenette and large sofa bed. We are close to the route south / north too and from Edinburgh but far enough away (1.5km) to not get interrupted by road / traffic noise.

Suntrap House is a modernist house built in 1964 and is situated in a mature 3 acre garden. The house has a small courtyard for alfresco dining (weather permitting). Access to the house and garden is through an electric gate with ample private parking & car charger. There is one other house in the garden where the owners live. The house has a large kitchen/dining area, with a separate laundry room, lounge, 3 bedrooms (king/double/twin), shower room and bathroom.
