Ahh....The Good Life Cottage is located approximately five miles north of Laurel, MS where it began on a patch of ground that was fully cultivated from the 1900's to the 1960's, afterwards it became a family farm that grew corn, hay, and food for livestock and family. Today, on the land is a farmhouse with modern amenities as well as the sights and sounds of nature all around you, frogs croaking, crickets chirping, deer feeding, turkeys foraging, and owls hooting. A place to enjoy the Good Life.

We were born and raised in the area,and it has always been a dream of ours to open a bed and breakfast on the old homestead property. We shared many cherished memories here, and it is our hope that our guest will be able to create their own during their stay. Hough Hill is furnished with family heirlooms that have been passed down through many generations. Welcome to the Cottage at Mason Park! It is beautifully furnished with some antiques and has a fully equipped kitchen. Our place accommodates 4 guests with a brand new premium Casper queen size mattress and a new Kendale pull-out couch. Located across from the beautiful Mason park in Laurel with its fenced dog park! 1.2 miles from downtown on the only avenue with a bike lane. Close to the main grocery stores and restaurants.
