A short easy stroll to either the beautiful Milford or Castor Bay beaches. Dining or shopping is also nearby at the Milford shopping precinct. Located on Devonport's Mt Victoria, surrounded by beautiful historic homes, MaisonMays is a self-contained, private apartment offering a light and peaceful setting with two outdoor garden dining areas, a king-sized bed, bath and a heating/cooling system for your comfort. Off-street parking available. Lock box on left hand side outside white gates at end of driveway. We say "Kia Ora" and are happy to greet our guests but agree to respect our guests' privacy if preferred. Centrally located in Devonport, a car is not necessary to enjoy the many delights around the neighbourhood. Walk up Mount Victoria to take in vistas of Auckland City or stroll to Torpedo Bay for a coffee and ice cream after visiting the Navy Museum. If wanting to travel farther afield, public buses can be found in central Devonport or at the Devonport Ferry Terminal, or perhaps a day trip to Waiheke Island, Rangitoto Island or Auckland City via Fuller's Ferries, departing regularly from Devonport Ferry Terminal. Deposit - A $400 deposit is required on booking, refundable unless a cancellation is made less than 7 days prior to stay.

1km from the beach/restaurants/ pharmacy/supermarket in Mairangi Bay (10 mins walk/2-3 mins drive).The guest area is below the main house & has its own entrance. The studio with HRV ventilation, heatpump and double glazing is ideal for solo travellers, couples with or without one small child. Please note that our downstairs studio has a low ceiling (1.98m high). Breakfast: Tea/Coffee (Nespresso Machine)/Cereal and milk included. Bed configuration: 1 double bed 1 king single bed

Upstairs apartment is a large, 2-bedroom house, with spacious living room, tv room, private bathroom and full kitchen. The apartment has its own entrance and private back deck. Right on the beach, a large, light and airy living space (160sqm upstairs house). Backed by native bush with expansive views of the beach and sea/sunrises to the front. Matakatia is a tidal inner harbour beach with safe swimming in summer, and for the brave in winter.

The bedroom features a queen bed and quality linen. Breakfast is provided consisting of cereal, bagels/toast, plunger coffee/ teas and preserves.
