Completely self-contained with its own private entrance, it has a courtyard with outdoor seating and parking for one car. An excellent base from which to visit Hadrian's Wall, Alnwick and Bamburgh Castles, picturesque Hexham and Corbridge and the vibrant city of Newcastle upon Tyne. Horsley boasts a good pub and an Arts Centre/cafe and good local walks.

The woodlands and leafy Jesmond Dene is only 10 minutes for a peaceful nature walk with waterfalls

Jessie's Hut

Our first hut (Ben's hut) was so successful, we've built another one !! Set on a working sheep farm, Jessie’s Hut has a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format. There's a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Wool-based insulation and central heating keep the hut cosy warm all year. Things to see include:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), The Roman Wall, Durham, Kilhope Lead mining Museum and The Metro Centre.

Private Annex in Corbridge Farmhouse

Embrace the peace and quiet of the countryside surroundings and unwind at this peaceful retreat with amazing sunsets, dark skies and beautiful walks. only 1.5 miles from Corbridge, 4 miles from Hexham and 18 miles from Newcastle. The annex does have a small kitchenette where a simple meal can be prepared for an evening relaxing with a glass in front of log burner after a day of walks or sightseeing. If the sun is shining there’s a table with chairs outside the property.
