The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. The space features a full kitchen with a dishwasher, large island, and a nice assortment of quality cook and prep ware. The larger bedroom has a king bed, the smaller one a queen. The central downtown location means you can walk to everything Roanoke has to offer. Paid daily parking (by the day) available in adjacent lot.

The Cabin is a luxurious rural escape, with a 3-person hot tub. Located on a permaculture homestead and native plant sanctuary, the space overlooks the garden and is surrounded by forest. Natural/local materials were used throughout (built in 2023).
