Good coffee and GIANT fancy donuts a three block walk from the apartment. We prefer their savory breakfast items, but donut people go crazy for these.

There is plenty to explore in the French Quarter and all along Frenchman Street. By the time
you’ve made it to DBA and the Spotted Cat (ideally around 6 or 10 for one of their nightly
shows), you’ll hopefully understand why they get shouted out.

The only plantation museum in Louisiana experienced from the perspective of enslaved
people. A transformative experience.
It’s a drive, but very worth it. You need a car - Uber doesn’t operate in the area.
