Do you know it was the Pole that opened the first cafeteria in the world in 1700s? This place is not that old, yet it keeps the atmosphere of local „kawiarnia”, and is on the way to the Old Town.

If you want Italian-style pizza (there's Polish style too - not here), this is one of three places in Warsaw that I know of. Pizza, pasta, antipasti, wine, beer. Moderately expensive.

The heart of the Old Town and one of Warsaw landmarks. Avoid the nearby restaurants - most of them are tourist traps. I always go there on warm summer evenings to sit down and watch the performers.
