Spectacular scenery, tranquil walks, amazing wildlife and wild swimming are all on your doorstep. The perfect spot to unwind and recharge whether relaxing in the garden with views over Jura, Islay and Gigha or warming your toes by the fire after a long day exploring the peninsula. The cottage is in a rural location about 3 miles from Clachan, 4 miles from Tayinloan.

The Vestry, St. Columbas Church

We have a quirky vestry, suitable for 2 adults or small family, attached to a converted church on Whiting Bay seafront. The Vestry has recently been converted to a high standard. It has a super kingsize bed plus a sofa bed in the living room/kitchen area. TV, cooker, fridge, kettle and toaster. Shower room/toilet. Views from the living room look out onto the sea and it's a stones throw away from the beach. Separate entrance with garden. Free parking. Bedlinen and towels provided. Free wifi.

Open all year. For couples, 2 friends or solo travellers . Dogs are very welcome. I expect to be at the lodge to meet you when you arrive. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Enjoy. We are nestled within the hill side of Lochranza up a rough private track. there are many walks from Laggan walk further up the track or fairy dell on the sea coast.

The living Room has a TV and Log Burner - with French Doors out to the decking area. The double bedroom is up on the mezzanine level which you access via a ladder.
