The exterior faces the corral where our cattle and horse may sometimes be, and free range chickens that may roam toward you, especially if they think you have food. Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. There are more friendly animals than people at this estate; 29 goats, 8 mini donkeys, 4 horses and more! With a queen sized bed & a small bunk room w/ twin bunks it will comfortably sleep 2 adults & 2 small people. The cottage has a small kitchen w/ a refrigerator, 2 burner stove, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, dishes, etc. A firepit and grill outside.
