In general we had a good stay. It was quiet, unique, the bed was comfortable, and while we didn’t have kids with us, it would be great for them with some thoughtful details for their enjoyment. However there was enough deferred maintenance that it felt a little run down, and in some cases unsafe (porch light didn’t work, nails sticking up on the deck to trip on, a smoke detector hanging out of the ceiling by its wires, a sliding door that wouldn’t lock, etc). If these things were addressed we would’ve given 5 stars - definitely has potential to be wonderful.

We booked this airbnb for our photographer who was coming in out of town for our wedding. Perfect airbnb and close enough to the wedding venue of Black Oak Mountain Vineyard. Host was great, instructions clear, thanks for hosting!

Interesting house with lots of light, and a beautiful deck surrounding it. The weather during my stay was not conducive to sitting outside, but I am sure it would be great in nicer weather. Big open area indoors to relax in.

Nice, peaceful retreat in nature. Overall, great accommodation for our weekend trip.
