I love peace and quiet, yet enjoy playing music w/ a few friends: bluegrass and old time/Appalachian style. During the warmer months of the year, I am outside gardening. In the winter time, I'm indoors sewing, reading, cooking. I strive to leave as little a carbon footprint as possible and interested in environmental issues. I love meeting new people and hearing their life stories.

As first-time AirBnB users, we were greatly pleased with our visit at Becky’s. She has a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful yard in the gently rolling hills just north of Asheville. The house is extremely clean and the beds are very comfortable. Becky is a friendly and warm host, continually trying to make our stay a pleasant one. She was very accommodating to our schedule and helpful in providing suggestions of things to do and places to dine. Her hospitality included providing a delicious breakfast and many other little things that made our stay all that much more comfortable. We really enjoyed our two-night stay in her home and we highly recommend others to do the same.

We loved our stay at Becky's house! Her home feels just like that, "home". It's warm & cozy, the queen bed is so comfortable, and the best part is definitely her back patio/yard. We enjoyed coffee out there in the morning and wine in the evening. The weather was perfect for having a fire and outside wine picnic which is exactly what we did. Definitely try the tree swing. It feels like you are "flying" as Becky said and I would agree. Lots of fun. The neighborhood is surrounded by green rolling hills, beautiful views, and filled with the sounds of birds and mooing cows . Although the property is a 25 minute drive from downtown Asheville, it's worth it if you love nature. As a host, Becky was very easy to work with when arranging our stay. We enjoyed chatting with Becky over coffee in which she provided each morning. She's friendly and very accommodating. I give this location 5 stars and hope to stay again in the future. :)
