Mark’s place is exactly as listed, we found it to be the perfect “base camp for our adventures” while we were in the area. The neighborhood is quiet and very walkable, his place was neat, displaying all the outdoor activities he likes to participate in, and the room was clean and comfortable. Mark is a great and friendly host, I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Stayed here with my partner for 5 nights and we loved it. We loved getting to know Mark and Akira. Mark gave us great tips and recommendations. The location is super nice and easy to navigate by foot. One of the main bus stops is literally like one step out the door. Even without a car, we were able to easily take transit to Mississippi ave, Alberta district, Washington Park, downtown, and the Columbia River Gorge. All the amenities were there, with an AC unit that was very effective during the 80 degree days. When we are back in Portland, we will definitely be looking to book here again.

I enjoyed my two-day stay at Mark’s, it was a clean, tidy respite after traveling from Seattle. It is located in a quiet part of Portland, situated right next to a small park, which made for calm, peaceful sleep both nights. It was very accessible by car to come and go to various spots around Portland. Although Mark was out on a weekend trip when I visited, he was very proactive and responsive from afar, helping suggest things to do or see on my journey through Portland and Oregon. He also let me borrow a little oak milk to make my bedtime tea. The bed was very comfortable too!
