My husband and I are in Singapore for our honeymoon and we really wanted to try new foods and learn about the culture. We weren’t exactly sure what to expect but the glowing reviews matched the magic that we experienced. Chris prepared a diverse spread of flavors from around the world and explained what they were how they were cooked. I am so glad we came hungry because there was so many incredible flavors to try! Everything was fantastic and I will look forward to ordering a wider variety of dishes for the rest of my life! Rose is such a kind, beautiful and welcoming soul who radiates with love. She is incredibly warm and attentive. Rose and Chris are some of the most interesting, most talented and hospitable people we have met. 10/10 storytellers!! If you are looking for a soul filling and heartwarming experience this is for you! P.S. I hope you get to see the Chris on the flute! Thank you both for everything !

I booked this experience on my first night in Singapore, and lets just say, my trip was MADE on that evening itself. It was a last min booking, but on hearing it was my first day in SG- and they still accommodated me. Rose is an incredibly gracious host and keeps a warm, welcoming home. Chris is a fantastic cook and fascinating story teller (ask him to tell you about the Indonesian aboriginal pieces he has on display.) We were joined by Rose’s dad- a former lecturer- who gave me the kind of crash course on Singapore that only a 3rd Gen Singaporean-Indian could give. To me- my evening with Rose and Chris represented what I came to learn of Singapore- a warm, welcoming place, with a fascinating history and people.

If you are looking to make a genuine connection, learn about historic artifacts, taste exquisitely cooked meals from around the world, and make long-lasting friends this is the place. Seriously- an amazing use of time in Singapore, I am following them to keep up on all the events they host so next time I am in Singapore I don’t miss out!
