Ulrich's accommodation is a great place to stay. Both inside and the patio outside. Very clean, lovely shower room, kitchen, TV, iron, etc. A very quiet neighbourhood to stay in, easy to find parking on the street, 30-40 minutes walk to the ESTO train into LA. Santa Monica was a lovely place to walk around. Great to get out to the west - Santa Barbara.
