I'm a fouth generation Murrells Inlet native. Morse Landing Park is named after my family. My mother and father had a restaurant there, Morse' s Oyster Roast for thirty five years. Our family home was in front of the restaurant. My four sisters and I loved growing up there on the creek, such a fun life! Staying at Gail and Gerry’s was just as I imagined, which was totally outstanding! Everything was perfect as it was explained on the Air B&B site. The Room is right by the water, small, quaint like a little cottage. Very clean, bed was comfortable and it came equipped with everything we needed including the fire pit and gas grill. The pass to Huntington State Park was a definite highlight. Gail and Gerry were very attentive as hosts and so friendly! They even have bathrobes, snacks, bottled water & chocolates! It was extremely delightful staying at the “By The Sea” cottage. They knew John and I are newlyweds and left us a really nice parting note with a hand painted craft shell with “By The Sea” on it and our names. They thought of every detail to make our stay so special! I certainly would like to make “By The Sea” a yearly stay as an anniversary getaway. I would recommend single and couples to stay here without hesitation! It’s very charming! Thank You G & G Awesome Hosts!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! Mrs. Gail and her husband were so pleasant and down to earth! We wish we had more time to sit and chat because they are a lovely couple. We had a busy weekend due to an annual symposium but we were made to feel right at home during our stay. We sat out by the inlet when we arrived. So peaceful. ❤️ We were truly blessed to have found this host and her home.

I would give Gail’s place 100/10 if i could. Her and her husband were so accommodating. We reached out the day of and asked if the place could be ready and she made it happen within the hour. She was so sweet and friendly and and made us feel right at home. The bed was comfortable, everything was spotless, and it even included a free pass to the state park. The view out the window was so stunning. It was my boyfriend and I’s anniversary and before we left she painted us a custom oyster shell with our anniversary on it! She was the best host i’ve ever had. She also showed us the other properties she has available on AirBnb and they are all stunning. I will 100% be back! Thank you for saving our trip we are so grateful for you!
