I started hosting airbnb at the suggestion of my daughters. It has been a great idea. I have converted their bedrooms into what is my idea of a wonderful bnb. My places have private entrances and enjoy my large back deck and yard with table and chairs. The shower has a loggerhead turtle made of tile on the floor which I did myself. I actually lived on this property when I was very young, and I was beyond thrilled to walk into my childhood playhouse again after 25 years. Pam has turned it into the cutest little haven in one of the most beautiful parts of western NC. Unfortunately, we noticed quite a few bug bites our second day there and upon inspection we found bedbugs. It broke my heart to leave, it really did. No shade on Pam - those little monsters are indiscriminate. I still recommend this spot - but visitors should check for bedbugs before bringing in their things. Thank you to Pam for the timely refund.
