What a peaceful place to relax with our dear friends! Jack and Susan were so dear and welcoming. The view is breathtaking and the back porch was the perfect retreat to enjoy our morning coffee or wind down after a long day of exploring. Thankfully the weather cooperated and we even got to enjoy our nights by the fire pit and relax in the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and so cozy. All in all, we had everything we needed for a long weekend. I definitely recommend this beautiful place for your next adventure in Vermont!

This place was everything we hoped for and more! A short drive to lots of restaurants and a big grocery store . The house was very comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy the home as well as prepare meals. The views were lovely and the open space around it was great. Could not ask for more from hosts. I hope to come back some day. Book it!

Susan and Jack’s home is an absolute gem! We were looking for a private spot to enjoy the fall foliage and we found it right here! The photos perfectly matched the home. It was gorgeous inside and out. The views off the back of the home are simply breathtaking. You will find yourself struggling with wanting to fit in all the activities the area has to offer but also wanting to just stay at the house and relax while taking in the views. Susan and Jack are lovely hosts who are responsive and easy to communicate with. We had one small hiccup with the hot water and Susan was quick to offer a solution. We loved our time in Vermont and we can’t wait to come back!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Susan's lovely home for 4 nights. Both Susan and Jack were gracious hosts who responded to our inquiries in a timely & helpful manner and greeted us like friends. The cozy home was beautiful - large bedrooms with extra towels & blankets; a kitchen full of every utensil; bathrooms with excellent hot water and shower pressure; and an exercise room. The extras - pantry with spices, stocked coffee/tea station, basket of chips, corn hole, board games - were appreciated. The outside property is gorgeous. We loved having morning coffee on the porch where we had a beautiful view of the mountains. We enjoyed the outside hot tub and making s'mores on the fire pit. Thanks to Jack, our first fire was stocked with wood and ready to “fire up.” The house is perfectly situated for a visit to Waterbury and Stowe. Delicious restaurants in Waterbury are 10 minutes away, and hiking trails in Stowe are 20 minutes away. We can't wait to return! Fantastic stay!
