Great guestroom! private and nice

This room was clean and had all the expected amenities. The area felt safe and Jose includes a lot of security--3 doors with all separate keys that he explains at check-in. Within walking distance past the freeway underpass are a few good restaurants. At night, I had to find street parking a block away which did not bother me.

I would recommend being very explicit with Jose about check-in procedures and time as the instructions are not specific. I was not able to check in for about 40 minutes as I tried to contact him before I anxiously entered his side of the home to find him and his family and his dogs who ran up to me. Besides check-in, the accommodation was perfect for what I needed.

Jose was a great host. The spot is in a safe, pretty central location that makes getting around easy. The place was very clean and has everything you need, including microwave and refrigerator. The street parking is also very easy, I never had issues with it.

I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to LA. If you’re looking for a simple room & bathroom or a solo/couple traveling, this is perfect.
