5 ijiem iluThis is such a cool offering! Caroline was so proactive about communicating when she could drop the soup off, and such a lovely person. We got the soup, heated it up, and devoured it all within about 5 minutes - it was delicious! The deluxe order was about perfect for my partner & I for lunch, and the cookies were amazing.

Awwissu 2025What a unique way to experience Seattle's iconic Pike Place Market! Great for locals and tourists alike. Caroline is great at making the group feel at ease - we even made new friends on the tour! She's super knowledgeable, can nerd out on all things food but also makes this approachable for non-foodies as well. Highly recommend!

Awwissu 2025A lovely and unique way to visit historic Pike Place Market! Caroline, otherwise known as “the Soup Lady,” took us on a tour of the market, introducing us to her favorite vegetable, fruit, and baguette vendors, and some of the special varieties they sell. On the way, she recounted some of the history of the market and how local people banded together to save the market years ago from proposed urban redevelopment. After our tour, we went to the west side of the market, where we found a picnic table with a great view of the harbor and the new waterfront park. There Caroline fed us some of her yummy vegan soup with baguette, and explained how her weekly Soup Club and two soup cookbooks came to be. To top it off, we all then were given a copy of one of her soup cookbooks, so we can recreate her magic at home. Caroline is a very friendly and outgoing host, and her tour is a very unique way to visit Seattle’s favorite tourist spot!

Awwissu 2025Really appreciated Caroline’s enthusiasm for and knowledge of the Pike Place Market. It was an interesting stroll through an iconic Seattle site. And we ended by enjoying a cup of her delicious homemade soup with a piece of bread overlooking the water!
A beautiful market and a fun way to explore it! If we had more time we would have gone back through again on our own after the tour.
