The makeover design for this older home is well thought out. The execution of the design not so much. The remodel looks very DIY with poorly done tile and laminate floors and well as wall paint. There are noticeable stains throughout. We had several issues around maintenance and functionality while there. The door lock to get in was a giant pain and works one out of five times. Not fun to stand in the freezing cold trying to get in. Garage door entry didn’t work. Was afraid to touch the furniture as it would fall apart. My 9 year old sat on the couch and a leg broke. She’s 70 lbs. One of the legs fell off a night stand when moved to plug in a night light. The freezer door to the refrigerator didn’t want to open. I have a security concern with the number of outside door entry points into the house especially being right next to a major street. The host was responsive but when told someone would check the lock and follow up, it didn’t happen.

Alison was a kind and hospitable host. She was very responsive and gave detailed instructions and assistance with our stay. I couldn’t ask for a better, smoother experience. We appreciate how clean and well kept her home was. Would definitely stay again 5/5. Thank you Alison for being a wonderful host and letting us stay in your cozy home!

Easy to find the house, very spacious living area, bedrooms were spacious/clean/big, and the bathrooms had all the perfect amenities. Easy to stay with our family here without losing our daily routine! Host was also very responsive and helpful during/after our stay.
