This was the perfect relaxing quiet cabin I needed. Location was good . Not to far from town. Cabin was clean and cozy. Loved the antique decor thru out. I would definitely recommend this place to stay .

We had a great time staying at Maryam's cabin. It was easy to find the key in the lockbox and the rooms looked exactly like they did on the photos. This is a very lovely and extremely spacious cabin with all necessary amenities. We had a little bit of an issue initially figuring out how to start the upstairs heater but with a quick phone call to Maryam it was immediately resolved. The cabin is very quiet in a beautiful natural setting and with gorgeous views. We were in Julian attending a wolf handling course at the California Wolf Center so we were pretty much gone all day but certainly enjoyed our mornings and evenings at the cabin - and the location was perfect for us, an easy 10 minute drive to the Center (convenient as we had early call times daily). With Airbnb sometimes you don't always know what you're going to get but Cabin on the Hill doesn't disappoint and lives up to all expectations. Highly recommended.

Very cozy cabin! It gets cold and dark at night in the winter, as does the entirety of Julian but the heater will keep you warm. All you need to make a meal is provided (except the groceries) which is very helpful since most of the stores nearby close early. Very close to the Main Street of Julian and other cool places to check out such as Cuyamaca lake. We had a great time looking at the stars at night and enjoying the Julian scenery!

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights at this lovely quiet cabin. Although the town of Julian was insanely busy and crowded during the New Year week, the cabin, which is about 3 miles from town was a warm, comfortable and interesting respite for us. I loved the beautiful pieces of rustic/antique furniture, fun curios and entertainment provided by our host. We never met them in person, but Maryam was quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall it was a wonderful experience.
