You get a taste of the history of New Orleans. This hotel is an old mansion. The look, the feel, even the room is luxury. On the edge of the French Quarters so you are a hop and a skip to everything. 15 minute walk to Bourbon street. 20 minute walk to the Cathedral.

Great stay

I’d always been curious about Rathbone after years of biking up and down Esplanade. The free croissants were a nice touch in the morning, but I wish we’d stayed somewhere more economical. They couldn’t change our sheets same day when we asked which, for $2K for a week long stay seemed…like not the service I’d expect

The staff was great! We loved the location. A few of the furnishings could use some love of replacement. It's a bit odd having to call daily for housecleaning but it worked and the maids went above and beyond. We go to NOLA once a year and would absolutely stay there again.
