I'm kind of specific about my Airbnb wish list. Besides being pet-friendly, I like a little privacy and "warmth" to a home. We got all of that and more here.

Because it was built in 1840, the architecture/interior is so interesting to see. I couldn't help but walk around and wonder about the people who lived there before.

Outside of the historical interest, the backyard was lovely. Pictures can't really capture the magical atmosphere. We arrived a bit late but we still made a fire and cooked smores.

And of course, one of my favorite things, was how detailed the ameneties were. I am a nerd about Airbnb binders and this was by far the most specific and helpful binder of information about the house and area. Any time my partner asked about something, I said "Did you check the binder??"

There were even instructions for the dog gate. And pretty much everything we could need (and more) for a stay was there. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer.
