We loved Erica’s place. It had a certain quality that felt very comfortable and charming. It was clean and comfortable. Erica went out of her way to help us find the apartment and to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Plus Sorrento is so beautiful and charming. It was our favorite city of the trip so far! Hopefully we can return someday and if we do we’d definitely stay here again.

Great location in Sorrento in a clean spacious two bedrooms with a view of the mountains off the balcony. Google maps didn’t quite get the location right, so check-in got a bit hectic.

The flat is spacious and clutter free. The large balcony has 2 sets of table and chairs so we always found shade somewhere. Peaceful inside the flat, but so close to the centre and train station. Perfect.

This was unfortunately the worst Airbnb experience I have had. There were no clear instructions for anything check-in, keys, Wi-Fi, or appliances, which created a very stressful stay. Communication with the host was curt, unhelpful and rude.

Basic essentials were missing insufficient supplies (only one spare toilet roll for a 5-night stay), no coffee pods for even the first night and no guidance on what to buy for the coffee machine. Several appliances including the coffee machine, microwave, and cooktop did not work properly.

The most stressful part was being locked out of the apartment more than once because the host never explained the keys and the temperamental lock. One morning we were stranded outside for a couple of hours unable to reach her by phone, and had to involve Airbnb support to get back in.

The lack of instructions, poor communication, and avoidable stress made this by far the worst stay I have ever had. I cannot recommend this property or the host.
