Fantastic local respite. Love the Sound Bar for watching movies.

Overall a peaceful and enjoyable stay! There can be improvements in cleaning and maintenance checks.
Had its pros and cons, but we appreciated the spacious layout and the quiet, peaceful atmosphere

Pros:

-Spacious cabin with a wonderfully stocked kitchen — had everything we needed for cooking.
-Great outdoor space to relax and unwind.
-Reliable WiFi — no issues streaming or staying connected.
-Customer service was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Cons:

-The shower head came loose and fell on us. We could've been injured so this was disappointing! We expected basic maintenance checks at this high price point.
-The cabin was quite dusty in some areas, and we noticed spider webs on kitchen items. Some furniture, like the couches and sofas, could have been cleaner.
-The bathroom had a strong metallic odor, especially noticeable during showers. It very overwhelming and made showering an uncomfortable experience.
- Towels were of poor quality and some had rips.

The house is a recently renovated cabin with large windows, great room, 3 bedrooms. Nice touches like ceramic dishes, glassware, public goods products. Thanks for the great coffee, wine and apple cider! One bathroom was fine for us. Up a long road but easy to find. Generator did kick on one night - a little noisy but glad to know it’s there. Very stylish and perfect for our stay. Will recommend to family and friends.

We loved our stay at Vanessa's cabin in the woods. It was perfectly secluded but close enough to a plethora of hiking, food, and shopping.
The space itself is so striking and open, although as others have mentioned, you can hear everything throughout the whole house.
If you're planning on an extended stay more than 1-2 days, be aware that there are very few provisions stocked. The kitchen is fully functional but you will need to bring all of the essentials like butter, cooling oil, tin foil, etc.
We would definitely stay again! One of the more unique Airbnb in the Upsate NY area.
