This was the perfect place to spend a few days. The space was clean and has all the amenities. It is a very quiet, safe and peaceful neighborhood. The host was very responsive and went beyond on my requests. I highly recommend.

I read reviews and felt good about this place. I am very conflicted. It is a great value, very pristine, nicely decorated, and a lot of nice touches: a bottle of wine, multiple bottles of water, and a little candy dish. We had no issues getting in and out, driving all around town, and even using the bus is easy (but time it wisely).

I’m no stranger to homelessness, but since Independence was closed, walking on Admiral was sketchy (you don’t need to walk tho). Nighttime can be a strange scene since it’s also close to a convenience store. It is across from Kansas City University, so I don’t think anyone really has issues, and the building seems full of students. Seeing the building for the first time was off-putting (used to be a hospital?). The building feels old/creepy, common areas not as nice, and we did not like the bed (too hard).

Overall: bargain, free parking (close to popular areas), good amenities (we used gym, little shop on 5th floor), dingy building, not walkable
