We did a few day road trip and this was our favorite place we stayed. Clean, roomy and comfortable.

We had a phenomenal time at Basswood! We reserved the Willow and Sassafras rooms to utilize as our getting ready rooms for our wedding happening on the same lot with the Appalachian Wedding Chapel and as an stress-free overnight stay. It was exactly what we had hoped for and then some! Everything was immaculately clean and very well decorated. We would be delighted to stay again in the future!

Additionally, we had a member in our party who has some mobility challenges and the Willow suite offered everything she needed - a comfy bed and chair, a spacious bathroom, and wheelchair-friendly entrances.

This was our second stay at the Inn as we have friends in town. It is very clean and feels like home. We will definitely stay again when we are in town.
