Real theater, all the time. They don't play musicals here folks, it's all drama, all day long. Great prices!
A great place to see wonderful theater without the Broadway prices. This is the place where Hamilton performed before going to Broadway.
The Public Theater is a New York City arts organization founded as the Shakespeare Workshop in 1954 by Joseph Papp, with the intention of showcasing the works of up-and-coming playwrights and performers. It is led by Artistic Director Oskar Eustis and Executive Director Patrick Willingham.
