You should definitely go visit the animal hospital at the Conservancy, they also offer canoeing and a butterfly trail and a lot of environmental education

The mission of the Conservancy of Southwest Florida is to “protect Southwest Florida’s unique natural environment and quality of life, now and forever.” The organization is located on 21 acres in Naples, Florida and features the Conservancy of Southwest Florida Nature Center. At the Nature Center, guests get connected to conservation through hands-on interactive experiences in the Dalton Discover Center, on our famous electric boat tours and in our Little Explorer Play Zone. The Conservancy Nature Center is also listed as Site #69 on the Great Florida Birding Trail. The Wildlife Hospital Exhibits offers patients limited exposure to humans in order to survive when they return to the wild. However, humans are the key to the prevention of wildlife injuries and several wildlife exhibit areas are open to the public. In the Dalton Discovery Center, you will imagine yourself as a drop of water, taking a journey through the ecosystems of Southwest Florida. Along the way, you will meet the animals and plants that call these places home. The uplands Everglades, mangrove, beach and ocean ecosystems exhibits are interactive and are also home to several Animal Ambassadors. Take a leisurely, informative and fun 45-minute cruise aboard an electric boat tours of the beautiful Gordon River. This is a perfect way for families, nature lovers and boaters to enjoy a unique experience on the water. Trained guides will point out the natural beauty surrounding the Conservancy Nature Center and you may even spot a manatee or two. Electric boat tours are frequently cited as visitors’ favorite part of the Nature Center experience. This is just a few of the exhibits and activities available at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. Be sure to bring your camera - or at least some binoculars - when you visit to capture some of the wildlife that calls the Conservancy home.
